Using an eReader such as Kindle or Nook

Kindle eBook Readers

Kindle eBook Readers are created by Amazon.com for reading Kindle or .mobi books.

My personal favorite reader is the Kindle Paperwhite because you can read it easily in bed in the dark or on the beach in the sun. Nice!

In addition to buying Kindle eBooks, you can get lots of free ones! I have over 3,000 and I seldom get them if they aren’t ranked 4.5 stars or more (out of 5).

Other sources…

  • KindleBuffet.com (Not responsible for the awful ads.note: they are not always free – double check!)
  • HundredZeros (note: they are not always free – double check!)

Sometimes you will run across free books in the .mobi format. Here is how you upload them to your Kindle Paperwhite –

  • Connect the¬†Kindle Paperwhite to your computer using the USB cable
  • Double-click the Kindle Paperwhite drive to open it and view the folders
  • Open another window, find the file you want to transfer and drag it to the Kindle Paperwhite folder
